Travis Best (5'11, 182lbs. [23rd Overall] [10 Seasons]

Born: July 12, 1972. Springfield, Massachusetts.

High School: Springfield Central in Springfield, Massachusetts

College: Georgia Tech

Drafted 23rd overall in the 1995 NBA draft. Was primarly a backup point guard for most of his career. 

Had a very strong high school career where he once scored 81 points and followed the next game with only 50 points. He led his team to a State Championship.

In college he led his team to the 1993 ACC Championship. In addition he would win the Francis Pomeroy Naismith Award, which is an award given to the best player under 6ft tall.

His biggest moment came in the year 2000 when the Pacers would go on to the NBA finals. Best made the game winning bucket in a very crucial decisive 5th game against the Milwakee Bucks in the first round.
He was also featured in the documentary Hoop Dreams. Best is now playing in an Italian league.
