Monte Towe (5'7, 150lbs. [4th Round] [1 Season])

Born: September 27, 1953. Converse, Indiana.

High School: Oak Hill High School

College: N.C. State

One of the earliest small players in the NBA standing only 5'7. He was a 3 sport all star. Was known to dribble the ball to
school and always practice his high arc jump on ladders.

At NC State he would team up to play with one of the best to ever play the game. David Thompson, whom they are credited
to have invented the alley-op.

At NC State he helped them win the 1974 NCAA National Championship with David Thompson.

Towe was very very quick and often times underestimated due to his size. But he never gave up on his dream and would go on to make the NBA. Today he is still involved in basketball, coaching at his own school NC State.
