Terrell Thomas Brandon was named sports illustrated best point guard in the NBA in the mid 90s. He is known for h is quiet and humble attitude that has helped him earn 2 All-Star Appearances.
Basketball did not seem like a possibility to Terrell at a young age as he had to wear leg braces due to a foot disorder. At one point doctors considered breaking his legs to relign them properly. Luckily his parents helped him rise out of handicap and he learned from a young age the importance of hard work and never giving up.
He came out of the University of Oregon in his senior season averaging 26 points per game and 5 assists per game. Was picked 11th overall by the Cleveland Cavs.
But after coasting the bench for 4 years the next season belonged to Brandon who became and instant All-Star and was regarded as the best point guard in the NBA. He has played with the Cavs, Bucks and the Timberwolves.
Today he owns his own clothing store and a barbershop. Terrell was one of the players who did not participate in endorcements because he believed he did not have the need to complicate his life.
